Our Team

J. Michael Johnson, CPA
President

Mike is a 1976 University of Texas graduate with a BBA in Accounting. After graduating, he began working for an eight offce regional firm, Alford and Meroney, in San Antonio, Texas, which later merged with Arthur Young and Associates, one of the original "Big Eight" National Firms. In 1978. Mike received his CPA license from the Texas State Board of Accountancy. Mike and his family moved back to Tyler in 1980 and has now been in practice for over 40 years. The practice has grown due to the personal attention, integrity and detail he brings to each client.

Cyndy Johnson
Human Resources/Payroll

Cyndy handles all Human Resource issues for the clients of which we act as outside comptroller. She oversees Payroll Processing.

Julie White
Receptionist/Bookkeeper

Julie joined us in August 2008 to take over our front desk and is in charge of client correspondence and tax return assimilation. She coordinates revenues and deposits for the various companies which we act as outside comptroller for.

Lynette Duren
Bookkeeper

Lynette comes to us from a experienced background of owning and running her own broiler farm, serving as a municipal judge and city secretary. She handles a variety of monthly bookkeeping clients, as well as, processing payroll and payables for clients.

Shelley Abrecht
Bookkeeper

Shelley comes to us with an accounting background studying at Stephen F. Austin University and working for other accounting firms. Shelley works with a variety of clients reviewing and processing payroll, and preparing monthly bookkeeping. In her spare time she is a Les Mills Instructor at Woodcreek Athletic Club.
